Shin Tae-yong Berikan Latihan Lompat pada Pemain Timnas Indonesia U-19, Untuk Apa Tuh?

HOBI4D, Daegu – Ada pemandangan yang tak biasa pada pemusatan latihan Timnas Indonesia U-19 yang digelar di Riverside Soccer Field, Daegu. Pelatih Shin Tae-yong terlihat memberikan menu latihan lompat pada pemain Timnas U-19.

Latihan lompat yang diberikan pelatih Shin Tae-yong dilakukan dengan cara mengikat tali yang membentang ke dua tiang. Para pemain Timnas Indonesia U-19 kemudian diharuskan melewati bentangan tali setinggi setengah meter dari tanah itu.

Materi latihan lompat diberikan untuk mengasah kemampuan pemain Timnas Indonesia U-19 sekaligus penguatan otot paha dan kaki. Pelatih Shin Tae-yong mengakui, menu latihan lompat sebelumnya memang tak diberikan untuk pemain usia dini.

“Memang untuk saat ini kemampuan melompat sangat kurang karena pada usia dini tidak ada latihan seperti itu. Akan tetapi, kalau ada latihan begini terus pasti akan menjadi lebih baik,” kata Shin Tae-yong.

Selain itu, pelatih Shin Tae-yong juga terus mengasah kemampuan passing dan heading dari para pemain. Menu latihan itu diberikan untuk menambah kualitas dari pemain Timnas U-19.

Timnas Indonesia U-19 sejauh ini sudah melakoni empat pertandingan uji coba selama pemusatan latihan di Korea Selatan. Ronaldo Kwateh dkk meraih sekali kemenangan dan tiga kali kalah.

Diizinkan Berpuasa

Shin Tae-yong juga memberikan izin kepada pemain Timnas Indonesia U-19 yang akan melakukan ibadah puasa selama pemusatan latihan di Korea Selatan. Namun, puasa dilakukan bila sedang tidak ada jadwal uji coba.

Pelatih Shin Tae-yong tak masalah dengan ibadah yang dilakukan para pemainnya tersebut. Akan tetapi saat pertandingan uji coba, Shin Tae-yong sudah koordinasi dengan para pemain untuk tidak dijalani agar bisa maksimal dalam pertandingan.

“Kami tahu ada bulan puasa. Akan tetapi, kami melakukan pemusatan latihan di luar negeri sehingga akan koordinasi dan komunikasi dengan para pemain,” kata Shin Tae-yong.

“Puasa itu dijalani saat istirahat. Tidak dijalani jika ada pertandingan atau uji coba,” tegas Shin Tae-yong.
