Makin Parah! Timnas Indonesia U-23 Tinggal Punya 14 Pemain Lawan Malaysia, Syahrian Abimanyu Cedera saat Latihan

HOBI4D, Hanoi – Kondisi Timnas Indonesia U-23 makin parah. Tim berjuluk Garuda Muda itu tinggal punya 14 pemain untuk melawan Malaysia.

Timnas Indonesia U-23 akan menghadapi Malaysia dalam perebutan medali perunggu SEA Games 2021 di Stadion Nasional My Dinh, Hanoi, Minggu (22/5/2022) sore waktu setempat.

Sebelumnya, Timnas Indonesia U-23 telah kehilangan lima pemain. Kelimanya adalah Firza Andika, Rachmat Irianto, Ricky Kambuaya, Egy Maulana Vikri, dan Elkan Baggott.

Firza, Irianto, dan Kambuaya tidak dapat bermain karena akumulasi kartu merah. Ketiganya diusir keluar ketika Garuda Muda kalah 0-1 dari Thailand dalam babak semifinal SEA Games 2021 pada 19 Mei 2022.

Sementara Egy, mengalami cedera dan harus diganti kala menghadapi Thailand. Adapun Baggott, tidak dapat bergabung ke Vietnam.

Cedera Hamstring

Terbaru, Syahrian Abimanyu dibekap cedera hamstring tatkala Timnas Indonesia U-23 menggelar latihan di Lapangan Latihan Stadion Nasional My Dinh, Sabtu (21/5/2022) sore.

“Ketika sedang ingin menendang bola dalam latihan, sepertinya Abimanyu mengalami cedera hamstring,” kata Shin Tae-yong di Hanoi, Sabtu (21/5/2022) sore.

“Kemungkinan Abimanyu tidak dapat bermain ketika Timnas Indonesia U-23 menghadapi Malaysia,” jelas arsitek asal Korea Selatan tersebut.

“Memang, situasi saat ini yang terburuk. Namun, saya beserta para pemain akan mempersiapkan diri dengan baik untuk melawan Malaysia,” papar Shin Tae-yong.

Laga Timnas Indonesia U-23 kontra Malaysia tetap menarik meskipun hanya perebutan perunggu. Skuad Garuda Muda dipastikan akan tampil ngotot.
